Smart Smoker: Is it really going to make me quit cigarettes?
Thursday, November 5th, 2009A question I get a lot these days is “Can the Smart Smoker really help me quit cigarettes?”, “Does the Smart Smoker work?” or another good one being “Is the Smart Smoker a scam?”. Another one I got recently is “How does the Smart Smoker work?”. I will do my best to detail the responses below.
What the Smart Smoker essentially does is mimic a cigarette but without the actual tobacco, tar or smoke. You can consider it a safer alternative to smoking cigarettes without the harmful chemicals entailed. Smart Smoker is called an “electronic cigarette”, which is the new thing right now to help smokers quit.
So, the question is, how does the Smart Smoker, or any other electronic cigarette, help smokers quit smoking? I’ll explain: first, the “e-cig” (as I’d like to call it) looks like a cigarette, so you will resume your normal smoking habits and hours (e.g. when you wake up, go to work, take a break, before dinner, etc). It feels and looks like a real cigarette, so you won’t think twice about it when you reach for it. Second, it will still deliver your nicotine fix, so your cravings will get satisfied. Third, it’s going to start putting money back into your pocket, and you will notice your wallet getting fatter.
Take the above three points and here’s what’s going to happen. Since you are planning to quit cigarettes, you are going to ween yourself off them with an electronic one. This will right away prevent you from buying real cigarettes. Second, going cold turkey never works, so you are still getting your fix (although you must control it) by regulating the intake of nicotine. Third, since you are saving a ton of money, you will definitely realize that quitting cigarettes and using the Smart Smoker was a wiser choice indeed.
And you know what’s cool? You’ve got no risk to try the device out. Right now, there is a free trial going on (all you have to do is cover the shipping costs). Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.
