Are You a Social Smoker?

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

social-smokerYou’re not a smoker, in the sense that you’re not addicted to cigarettes… yet, your excuse is that you “smoke only when you drink”.

And you drink often.

You are now considered a social smoker. While you may not be addicted to cigarettes, you enjoy it a lot but can’t stand the fact that it’s bad for your health. There’s no denying it: smoking cigarettes, whether it’s once a week or once an hour, you’re damaging your lungs and health. The amount of tar, tobacco and smoke that you inhale while smoking a cigarette is ridiculous, and would make anyone sick.

Friends, time to rejoice. I found the holy grail of all smoking devices. It’s called the Smart Smoker, and I think it’s the perfect replacement for smoking cigarettes for social smokers. Whether you’re out partying or need some time off from work, Smart Smoker allows you to enjoy the full feeling of a cigarette without any of the common negatives. What’s even cooler is that you can use this puppy anywhere you want: bars, clubs, lounges, airports, casinos, work, etc. since it’s not a real cigarette and there’s no actual smoke. You will still get your nicotine fix without the nastiness of tar, smoke or tobacco!

Right now, there is a free trial going on for Smart Smoker. I suggest you hurry up and order the kit before stock runs out!

Why I Don’t Recommend The Patch to Quit Smoking Cigarettes

Monday, October 19th, 2009

The patch does not work. Period.

I bought myself a box a while back with high hopes, but realized it was a waste of cash. From the day I started using it, I felt dizzy, nauseous and had this crazy rash develop on and near the patch area. I threw the box along with the remaining patches straight to the trash.

Ah yes, the infamous patch.

Ah yes, the infamous patch.

The nicotine patch is a lot more harmful because the amount of nicotine released into the bloodstream is sometimes more than the amount that you smoke. There are several cases out there of people overdosing on the patch. How crazy is that? So you want to quit, but with the amount of nicotine being released into your system, you’re going to want to smoke more cigarettes when you realize the patch doesn’t work.

One of the biggest problems with the patch is that while you are getting your nicotine fix, you are not smoking. Smokers, such as myself, need to actually perform the act of smoking to get our fix. This is especially true when you are surrounded by other smokers (friends, co-workers, strangers, etc). The act of puffing on a cigarette has an influence on getting the satisfaction from smoking.

Instead, I strongly urge readers to try Smart Smoker instead. This allows you to resume your normal social habit of smoking (the “act”) and quit smoking real cigarettes entirely. You will still get the nicotine fix, but without the tar, smoke or tobacco. Currently, there is a free trial going on, so if you want to see for yourself what the hype is, I urge you all to check it out before it’s gone for good!

How I Stopped Smoking Cigarettes and Managed to Stay Sane

Friday, October 9th, 2009

Hey everyone, Justin here. I want to tell you guys about how I stopped smoking cigarettes for good. All it took was one free product that changed my life forever. Before I divulge on my secret find, I want to show you what I did before I switched to a healthier lifestyle. I feel so much healthier now, I can’t even explain it. I’m hoping this page will educate everyone on what is a complete waste of time and what actually works. Just so you guys know: I was smoking about half a pack a day.

Without further ado, here’s the list of stuff I tried…

Going Cold-Turkey

I’ve tried the cold turkey approach and it worked… for the twenty or so times I tried it.

Going cold turkey only worked for a week or two until the urge to smoke kicked in more than ever. They say it’s after three days of pain where you finally get over the urge to smoke. This is really hard to go through, and I don’t know anyone who stopped for good by going this route.

The Lasers

A friend of mine recommended I go for the laser treatment. I paid 75$ for a session where some guy zapped a laser on the back of my neck and wrists. I’m sure he was laughing in the back of his mind, wondering who actually believes in this crap.

It’s funny: I walked out of there, feeling cured. I didn’t want to smoke anymore. After a few days, I had one cigarette because I had this small craving. The next day, I had three. After that, went up to six. The treatment was a placebo effect. After a few days, I was back to smoking half a pack a day at my regular intervals.

The Needles

I was so desperate once that I even tried acupuncture in hopes of it doing something. You guys ever got a hundred or so needles pierce through your skin? It made me want to have a cigarette after from the fear of needles.

The Patch

You’ve seen plenty of advertisement concerning the patch… I decided to give it a shot. This stuff made me so nauseous it was unbearable. Even more, it was more expensive than a pack of cigarettes! Also, the patch gave me a crazy rash on the spot where I applied it. I threw the first and last box straight to the trash.

The Gum

After the patch, I decided to try the gum. It had zero effect on me, and there was no gum out there that actually tasted good… Oh, the lozenges and candy were no better. If you check some health sites, you’ll notice there are problems such as muscle control, gum disease, hair loss (WTF!) and birth defects… no thanks.

Hypnosis

Absolute waste of time. I was a fool to pay this hypnotist 100$/hr to cure my cravings. Never again!

Smokeless Tobacco (Snuff)

This stuff is actually worse for your health than smoking cigarettes! There is a higher risk of developing mouth and lung cancer with snuff.

My Social Circle

You know, the biggest problem with the methods used above was my social circle. Most of my friends smoke, and the ones who aren’t regular smokers, have a cigarette when we go out partying at clubs. Each time I saw one of my buddies pick up a cigarette, I immediately gave in and had one myself.

What Helped me Stopped Smoking Cigarettes for Good

Finally, the fun part! Ok, so I used a product called Smart Smoker. With this, you basically replace your cigarettes entirely. It is a much safer alternative than smoking cigarettes, as there is no smoke, tar or tobacco! It is an electronic cigarette. Sounds like it’s from the future, huh? Trust me, once you try this baby out, you’ll never touch a cigarette again.

They currently have a free trial going on! Better act quick and snag a kit before the trial runs out.

Click here for a free trial of Smart Smoker. You won’t be disappointed.

Comparison Table

I did this quick table to show you guys all the different methods and costs involved… you’ll be surprised by the results!

Cold Turkey Lasers Acupuncture Patch Gum Hypnosis Snuff Smart Smoker
Efficacity Level 60% 20% 10% 40% 40% 0% 200%

Time Involved Weeks! 1 hour 2 hours - - Waste - NONE
Cost 0$ 75$/session 150$/session 40$/week 35$/week 100$/hr 50$/week FREE

Is this for real? An Electronic Cigarette?

Yes! I know, it sounds ridiculous, but this stuff really does work. It’s basically the safest alternative to smoking cigarettes, yet getting the same effect of actually smoking it. The taste, feeling and look of a cigarette is all there… but it’s not a cigarette! Crazy, I know.

Smart Smoker features are:

  • No tar, smoke or tobacco
  • No smell
  • No ashes
  • No carbon monoxide
  • No more yellow teeth
  • No more bad breath
  • No flames or fires
  • No harmful side effects

You can even smoke these in places where cigarettes have been outlawed: bars, clubs, restaurants, boats, cafes, airports and in your home again (in case you have a significant other who hates smoking…).

What comes with the kit?

You’re going to get your e-cigarette (the “atomizer”), battery, USB charger and 12 mixed-strength cartridges (which are equivalent to 12-20 cigarettes). Seriously, you guys have nothing to lose. Try it out already; your whole life is going to change once you stop the cigarettes, I guarantee it.
